My Broadway Review System:

Plays take me away from reality, so my measurement system for reviews is for how many levels of reality do I escape. People go to plays to escape the reality of their lives. Here are my levels on how I rate a play:

1 Escape: It will help you forget a weird haircut :)
2 Escapes: It will help you forget that you don’t have hot water :)
3 Escapes: It will help you forget you missed your subway stop :)
4 Escapes: It will help you forget that your dog pooped on the rug :)
5 Escapes: It will help you forget your break up with your girlfriend :)
6 Escapes: It will help you forget work :)
7 Escapes: It will help you forget your body weight :)
8 Escapes: It will help you forget your family problems :)
9 Escapes: It will help you forget the last play you saw was really awful :)
10 Escapes: It will help you forget that you will die someday :)

Finding Neverland

Thomas Ellenson

Finding Neverland is the most creative musical ever. I've never seen any shows like Finding Neverland because it is really well done. The story is about how J.M Barrie made Peter Pan.

The cast is amazing and they are very talented people. Also, there are four children in the show who are fabulous. I met a few people who are in it after the show. They were extremely nice. I also met Matthew Morrison. He is a super talented actor. I asked him how he prepared for the role? He said that he talked to his friends who are writers and learned a voice. Also, I asked him how did you feel about your return to Broadway. He said that he was really happy to return home.

The set is the most beautiful and creative set ever. Truly, I've never seen any sets like this one because it's really unusual for a musical. Also it is really magical. For example, the scene where the mother dies, they used sparkles. I was so impressed and moved!! Bravo!!!!!!!

The music and lyrics are so fantastic because they are perfect for this musical. It moves the plot along, and tell you something about the story. The songs always do that! The most beautiful song is When Your Feet Don't Touch The Ground. There are also many more songs that are beautiful throughout the show.

My opinion
I give it 10 escapes for my review. It is a must see. It is playing at Lunt Fontanne theater
